While checking into buying a new Savage in Harlingen, Texas, I asked the parts dept to look up the price. It was quoted at $249.95. The dealership is 8 years old and they said they have never sold one, so I guess they last a long while.
PS: Wanting to buy a 95 or later Savage in Texas. E-mail me if you've got one.
